Easter is hugely celebrated in Ghana and to continue with this festive tradition we invited our former and recent students to join us celebrating Easter and the end of the Easter break at the Yard. Bob and his family, who have been supporting TYS since the very beginning, came to visit us from the UK. We held a volley tournament at our famous abrofo nkatie field. And of course there is no Easter without Easter games! Three legged race, egg toss, tug of war between Akwidaa and Cape 3 Point villages – revealed on our beach until the sunset, accompanied by traditional drumming and singing. Little kids enjoyed their surfing and swimming lessons with our experienced surf teacher. Teachers meeting former students and sharing their memories, classmates, who are on our Career Development Program, getting reunited, friends and family and of course the new generation of students- all came to share these wonderful moments!
